Wearing Rompers into Fall
It took me a while to get on board the romper train (and I still think they’re a pain when you have to go to the bathroom). But I also really love how easy (and comfortable!) it is to wear a romper.
But now that fall is here, it’s a lot harder to just wear a romper on its own — mostly because it’s just not warm enough most days! And though I am generally a cardigan lover (see posts here and here), I just don’t feel like cardigans and rompers are a perfect match. I want something a little edgier.
For later in the fall, I think a pleather or moto jacket would be a great choice, but while it’s still relatively warm, I’m loving a long vest layered over the romper. Plus, this vest is made of (faux) fur, so it adds a little warmth when I need it.
My romper obviously has pants, which helps it transition into fall, but even shorts rompers can get a little extra wear by throwing a jacket over them (similar to my shorts and a jacket style in this post).
Also, if you’re on the fence about wearing your romper to work, a vest or a jacket can help to bring it more into the business casual realm. Adding in a cami, like I did here, can also help with that!
