Life Lately

Life Lately | July 2017

July was quite the month. Matt and I got married, went on a honeymoon, moved, went to a church conference/camp with my family (where I taught middle schoolers), and made a quick trip to see my grandpa in the hospital. In fact, we realized that we spent each week of July in a different state.

So needless to say, I’m exhausted. However, I’m working from my parents’ house this week, which should be a nice semi-vacation. And then, I’m in my friend Audrey’s wedding on Saturday!

There’s never a dull moment around here.

Here are other notable items from my life!

Reading

Reading: City of Bones

City of Bones | I was reading Small Great Things by Jodi Picoult, but it was due at the library — and I was moving — so I decided to just stop and read it later on when I had a little more free time. But since I needed a good book to read before bed, I defaulted to a favorite — City of Bones. (And Cassandra Clare’s new book, Lord of Shadows, is next on my list.)

Watching

Gilmore Girls | Can you ever watch that series too many times? If you can, I haven’t reached that point yet.

Listening To

Listening to: Luckiest Girl Alive

Luckiest Girl Alive | I’m undecided on how much I like the book — I’d probably give it a B at this point. Β However, it’s pretty long, and that’s been crucial, given how much time I spent in the car this month.

Sewing

Sewing: My bridesmaid dress

Honestly, there hasn’t been much time for sewing this month, but I’m working on altering my bridesmaid dress for my friend Audrey’s wedding this weekend. And I must say, I’m pretty pumped to just be a supporter/errand runner (instead of a planner) for this wedding. πŸ™‚

Thanks for reading!
