July was quite the month. Matt and I got married, went on a honeymoon, moved, went to a church conference/camp with my family (where I taught middle schoolers), and made a quick trip to see my grandpa in the hospital. In fact, we realized that we spent each week of July in a different state.
So needless to say, I’m exhausted. However, I’m working from my parents’ house this week, which should be a nice semi-vacation. And then, I’m in my friend Audrey’s wedding on Saturday!
There’s never a dull moment around here.
Here are other notable items from my life!
City of Bones | I was reading Small Great Things by Jodi Picoult, but it was due at the library — and I was moving — so I decided to just stop and read it later on when I had a little more free time. But since I needed a good book to read before bed, I defaulted to a favorite — City of Bones. (And Cassandra Clare’s new book, Lord of Shadows, is next on my list.)
Gilmore Girls | Can you ever watch that series too many times? If you can, I haven’t reached that point yet.
Luckiest Girl Alive | I’m undecided on how much I like the book — I’d probably give it a B at this point. However, it’s pretty long, and that’s been crucial, given how much time I spent in the car this month.
Honestly, there hasn’t been much time for sewing this month, but I’m working on altering my bridesmaid dress for my friend Audrey’s wedding this weekend. And I must say, I’m pretty pumped to just be a supporter/errand runner (instead of a planner) for this wedding. 🙂
Thanks for reading!
