Probably the most notable happening of the past month was my sister’s graduation from Luther College. I was there less than 48 hours, and it was pretty much go, go, go the whole time. Highlights included eating at McDonalds after Commencement, since we didn’t want to wait to eat. Lowlights included moving Hannah (and Lexi) out of a sixth floor dorm room. It was basically my cardio for the month.
P.S. The fifth person in the picture is the previously mentioned Lexi, Hannah’s roomie.
Here are other notable items from my life!
Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy. I’m a huge fan of Cassanda Clare’s shadowhunter novels. And though the short story collections (like this one) aren’t nearly as good, I’ve gotten pretty into it.
I also read about 100 pages of Shiny Broken Pieces. Not superior. (Of course, I was 80+ pages in when I realized that it was a sequel. So that didn’t help.)
The Great British Baking Show. This show is a gem. I was looking for a replacement for Cupcake Wars (which was rudely taken off of Netflix), but this is so much better.
I also started Girl Boss over the weekend, and I’m enjoying it a lot.
S Town. Not going to lie, when I made the decision to listen to it, I was under the impression that it was basically a novel in podcast form. But then I saw that it was from Serial and This American Life, so I quickly figured out that it wasn’t. (Also, check out their website! So cool.)
My wedding dress. Well, I’m actually altering it, and I can’t show you pictures because it’s a secret. 🙂
Counting Down To
The wedding! It’s in just over a month.
Bonus: Outtake of the Month

Thanks for reading! And happy (almost) June!
