Land’s End has always been on my radar, but I rarely thought of it as a place to buy actual clothes for myself.
When we were kids, we always got to pick our coats out of the Land’s End Overstocks catalog (which, sadly, died with the invention of online shopping), and I remember the Land’s End boxes having huge murals on the inside that my sister and I would spend hours coloring.
But really, once I got old enough to start shopping at the mall, Land’s End became that place that sold mom clothes. And it stayed there – firmly – until I was a year or two out of college and my mom sent me a link to a Land’s End dress she thought I’d really like. And she was right.
It was a pink business dress (seen briefly here) that was really comfortable and also professional. And when I wore it to a client meeting, it started a conversation with all the women in the room about how Land’s End stuff had gotten really cute.
Needless to say, I now browse their website and their catalog (because they still have one of those) regularly. And I almost always have a wish list. The items above are the ones I’m currently into!
Thanks for reading!
