The December Seven

SevenΒ random – yet notable – items from the past month.

Admiring the decorations in Free People.

Playing with my new camera. (I think Matt’s having as much fun as I am.)

Listening to my JBiebs Christmas CD, and laughing every time I read the note.

Amusing myself with this book. (Which I ultimately decided not to by. But it was hilarious.)

Arranging our family’s Willow Tree Nativity Scene. I’m especially proud of my placement of the little lamb who really wants to see Jesus.

Rediscovering the excellent wallpaper in my grandparents’ bathroom. My favorite parts are “Buy This Swell Hat” and the “Bust Cream or Food.”

Feeling very loved by my family. (Yes, this is me as a small child, and yes, that is on my parents’ refrigerator.)

One of my favorite parts of Christmas this year was deciding to wear a very festiveΒ (and somewhat obnoxious) outfit to church on Christmas morning. I have a Santa sweater that I found at Walmart a few years ago, and I decided that I was going to wear it for Christmas dinner. But then, when I was trying to decide what to wear to church that morning, I realized that the sweaterΒ would be perfect with my white tulle skirt and heels.Β So I put them all on.

I can’t remember the last time I had that much fun wearing an outfit to church.

I thought it was exactly perfect for the day. It was a little weird, very festive, and a ton of fun. Of course, as soon as I got home, I swapped the skirt for fleece-lined leggings, but still. I thought it brought a lot of Christmas cheer. πŸ™‚
